Terms of Service
The short version: RugCalc provides free measurement calculators and informational guides. Everything on this site is an estimate for planning purposes only.
1. Use of this site
By using RugCalc you agree to use the calculators and guides for personal, non-commercial planning. You may not scrape, republish, or resell the content without written permission.
2. Estimates, not professional advice
Calculator results and guide content are estimates based on common residential practice and standard measurements. They are not engineering, construction, legal, or tax advice, and do not replace a professional quote or inspection. Always verify quantities and measurements with your supplier or contractor before ordering.
3. Accuracy and availability
We work to keep calculators and data accurate and up to date, but we make no guarantee that results are error-free or that the site will be available at all times. Building codes and material specs vary by location and change over time.
4. Third-party links and advertising
The site may contain links to third-party sites and may display advertising. We are not responsible for the content or policies of third parties.
5. No liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RugCalc is not liable for any loss, damage, or cost arising from reliance on calculator results or guide content.
6. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
